Le Sueur County Pioneer Power 37th
"The Original Swap Meet"

April 25, 26, 27, 2014

2013 REPORT: It has been one of those early springs in southern Minnesota. Starting the 1st of April, it snowed at least 6 - 8 inches of wet snow each week with rain showers in between. A week before the swap meet it snowed 8 in. and on the Tues. morning before the swap meet we woke up to 5 in. of new snow on the ground. So the grounds were wet to start off with. Our only salvation was that we were very dry going into winter and the moisture was welcome and did soak in fairly well. The temps began to rise by Wed. before the swap meet and the sun came out. Thurs. is the day we let vendors into the grounds it was 50 degrees and it just got better from then on. By Fri. it was in the mid 60's, Sat. mid 70's and by Sunday it was 83! So over all we had one of the best swap meets in recent history as far as temps go. Number of vendors were down slightly due to the wet weather leading up to the swap meet. A few muddy areas were around but for the most part very few vendors had to be pulled in or out of the grounds.

The Board of Directors would like to thank every one for attending!
